WasteXpert Digester uses a series of processes in which bio microorganisms decompose food waste in the presence of oxygen. Our proprietary mixture of microbes and enzymes accelerates the digestion of biodegradable material within 24 hours and converts it to gas (CO2) and water. When food waste is buried as landfills, it emits methane (CH4) and other harmful gases. Methane is 72 times worse for the atmosphere than carbon dioxide (CO2). Methane is one of the main reasons of global warming as well. Whereas, when the waste food decomposes in the WasteXpert Digester machine, it produces CO2 as a natural cycle. The process is totally green and consumes very little electricity.
No. WasteXpert Digester uses a series of processes in which microorganisms break down biodegradable material in the presence of oxygen. The waste food is not chopped rather it is decomposed to such a degree that it turns into liquid and can exit the machine only through a fine mesh screen. Anything you eat can go into the WasteXpert Digester except for very large bones. The machine can digest both raw and cooked food.
No. The aerobic decomposition without chopping or grinding helps in greater digestion thereby reducing the Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) levels. The output (grey water and CO2) discharged contains 300ppm of BOD level on an average depending on the type of food fed to the machine, which is within the permissible limit to be treated further in a sewage treatment plant. Moreover, small quantity of microorganisms and enzymes that drains out with the grey water keeps treating the discharge and further reduces its BOD level in the process.
There are load cells mounted on each corner of the WasteXpert Digester which helps them to weigh the total amount of food waste. The software calculates the weight automatically and warns with an alarm in case of overweight.
No. WasteXpert Digester is designed with mechanical door sealing so there is no chance of any kind of leakage or odour. WasteXpert Digester also has deodorization systems as well as an automatic water / flush system.
No. While our machines are highly durable and made of SS304, we advise soft water for longevity and hassle-free usage.
No. All our processes are totally green. Microorganisms are very common and eco-friendly. They live around us and are responsible for digesting all types of waste. WasteXpert Digester just makes these microorganisms more activated and accelerates the decomposition of organic waste. It can decompose food waste within 24 hours.
No. You can feed food waste into the machine whenever you want. The machine constantly decomposes organic waste. Even though it is working, our products have door sensors to stop automatically when the door is opened hence it is safe and intelligent.
The Enzymes need to be replenished once a year and the biostars need to be replaced once every 3 years. Depending on the capacity of the machine, the bottles of enzymes can be ordered.
